About Troy Alexander

Troy Alexander I have a passion for Music, Art and Photography. I love to travel and capture the essence on film and video. I was a Certified web designer for several years. I designed and created one of the Top 100 Music websites online in 1999 according to the Indie Bible. I was the first to do Live Interviews with Gold and Platinum Artists and stream them online. I then filmed and produced a music documentary that was selected for the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2003 which screened at the Brendan Theaters in Las Vegas. I enjoy bringing ideas and visions into fruition. My father is well-known Commercial Artist, Cartoonist, Photographer Bill Alexander aka William 'Snooky' Alexander he created the first Black Superhero in History 'Bronze Bomber' with Gene Bilbrew. The Bronze Bomber was a cartoon column in the Los Angeles Sentinel and L.A. Tribune in 1943

He later became the main Artist for Eerie Publications and created most of the 'horror comic book' covers in the 60's and early 70's now collector's items ,he's also done alot of artwork for Herman Monster. I wonder how .many of you remember the Monsters. Bill Alexander was the illustrator for the first Black fashion magazine called Elegant in the 1960s. He designed Ray Charles album cover 'Crying Time' which won 2 Grammys and much more. Ray Charles manager liked the glasses so much they had a pair made from the design which Ray Charles wore from that day on. My late father's later work consisting of beautiful paintings (usually Jazz oriented) stunning portraits and photography has always inspired me to continue to create and offer my vision to the world. Thank you for visiting. Contact me if you have any questions. Be sure to follow there is much more to come
